Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how 3JAE Collective, doing business as Calyura ("Calyura," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit our website, create an account, or subscribe to our NCLEX-RN or PN/VN exam preparation services (together, the "Services").

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Account information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and login credentials, when you register or subscribe.
  • Payment information processed on our behalf by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number on our own servers — Stripe handles and secures that information under its own privacy and security practices.
  • Course and usage information, such as your subscription track (RN or PN/VN), simulator activity, quiz responses and scores, and progress through review-of-systems lessons.
  • Wellness app information, including mood check-ins, journal entries, and messages you send to the AI wellness assistant, along with the patterns and summaries our systems generate from that information (such as recurring stress or confidence trends).
  • Technical information collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and general usage patterns on our site, typically through cookies or similar technologies.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and maintain your account and provide access to the course, simulator, and wellness tools included in your subscription.
  • To process payments and manage billing through Stripe.
  • To send you service-related communications, such as welcome emails, billing notices, and responses to support requests.
  • To maintain the security of our Services and detect fraud or misuse.
  • To understand how our Services are used so we can improve them.

3. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function, such as keeping you logged in. We may also use basic analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand overall site usage. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the Services may not work properly without them.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of third parties, and only as needed to operate the Services:

  • Stripe, to process subscription payments and billing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • Our website and hosting provider, and Thrive Apprentice, the platform we use to manage courses, accounts, and login.
  • Lovable, the platform hosting our embedded NCLEX simulator and wellness tools. Your interactions within those embedded tools are processed on that platform on our behalf. See Lovable's Privacy Policy.
  • Google, whose AI model (Gemini) powers the wellness assistant's chat and pattern-recognition features via Lovable's AI infrastructure. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of some or all of our business assets.

5. AI Processing and the Wellness Assistant

The wellness app's chat, mood-tracking, and journaling features are powered by artificial intelligence. When you send a message, log a mood, or write a journal entry, that content is processed by our AI provider, Lovable, and by the underlying AI model that powers it, Google's Gemini (see Section 4 above), in order to generate responses and identify patterns — such as recurring stress, confidence changes, or burnout signals — that personalize your experience.

This processing is automated. Your wellness app entries are not reviewed by a Calyura employee in real time, and no one at Calyura is automatically alerted if the AI detects signs of distress. The assistant is designed to encourage you to seek help directly, including contacting a crisis line or emergency services, when it recognizes signs of significant distress, but this is not a monitored safety system. See Section 8 of our Terms of Service for more on the assistant's limitations.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and course information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, billing, and recordkeeping obligations. You may request deletion of your account and personal information at any time, subject to the exceptions above.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it. To make a request, contact us at support@calyura.com. Residents of California and certain other states have specific rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion; we do not sell personal information as defined under these laws.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for adult learners preparing for a nursing license and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Third-Party Links and Embedded Tools

The Services may link to, or embed, third-party tools such as our simulator and wellness applications (hosted on Lovable) and our payment processor (Stripe). These third parties have their own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

12. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, contact us at support@calyura.com.
